Job summary

Amazon Seattle is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for Neptune to design and deliver algorithms and features that boost high availability, reliability, and performance of the graph database service.

You will lead design discussions, mentor engineers, and work cross-functionally to build scalable solutions for a large customer base, while practicing rigorous code reviews and automation to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or in a leadership role within an engineering team.
• Knowledge of database internals, query planning and optimization, and/or storage performance and efficiency.
