Job summary

Amazon Neptune is a fast, scalable, fully-managed graph database service, optimized for highly connected datasets. We seek an experienced software development engineer proficient in C++ or similar languages to design and deliver algorithms that enhance Neptune's availability, reliability and performance for AWS customers.

You will participate in design discussions, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration, working in a startup-like environment within AWS where mentorship and career

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 1+ years of experience in C++, Rust, Related programming language.
• Knowledge of database internals, query planning and optimization and/or storage performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver new algorithms and features that drive Neptune's high availability, reliability and performance guarantees to AWS customers.
• Participate in project execution to develop cutting-edge database service capabilities while working with amazing team members.
• Build high-impact solutions to deliver to our large customer base.
• Participate in design discussions, code review, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
