Job summary
Collins Aerospace in San Diego seeks a Principal Specialist, Engineering Services - Software Configuration Management to join the Configuration and Data Management team. You will support product lifecycle management, perform diverse technical and administrative tasks, and provide SWCM program support in a dynamic, priority-driven environment.
The role requires independent work with the ability to collaborate, and may include after-hours work during peak periods.
Qualifications
- US citizenship required with ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics with relevant experience.
- Solid understanding of configuration management and software development concepts.
Responsibilities
- Execute program configuration and data management tasks per plan.
- Identify configurations and manage baselines.
- Coordinate Engineering Review Boards (ERBs).
- Administer software version control repositories.
- Capture and release software builds and documentation.
- Manage software licenses and audits.
- Process media requests and ensure documentation accuracy.
