Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist in San Diego for Software Configuration Management. You will support product lifecycle, manage configurations, and collaborate within a CM team to satisfy program objectives.

Ideal candidates will hold a STEM degree with years of experience or an advanced degree, and possess knowledge of CM concepts, scripting, and DevOps tools. Hybrid onsite/offsite work in San Diego, CA is available.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with 5+ years’ experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years’ experience.
• Able to obtain/maintain Secret or Top-Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Solid understanding of configuration management and software development concepts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
• Proactive with the ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks per the program’s configuration and data management plan.
• Configure identification and ERB coordination.
• Manage software version control repositories and builds/releases.
• Assist with software licenses and audits.
• Process media requests and ensure documentation accuracy per procedures.
