COLSA Corporation seeks an experienced Software Assurance (SwA) Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama. The role focuses on securing complex software across the SDLC, identifying vulnerabilities, and supporting authorization and readiness for materiel release.

The ideal candidate brings deep software assurance and application security expertise to analyze software systems, mitigate risks, and ensure compliant, secure software delivery. Government and defense programs are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience in software assurance/security.
• Experience integrating security throughout the SDLC.

Responsabilités

• Conducts application security testing (SAST, DAST, IAST, fuzzing, pen-testing).
• Performs vulnerability analysis and remediation mapping findings to CWEs/CVEs.
• Provides technical leadership and coordinates SwA projects within the SDLC.
• Supports materiel release readiness and security compliance during releases.
• Evaluates tool capabilities and delivers secure testing solutions.
