Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to strengthen our Systems Engineering and Assurance discipline. The role focuses on providing software technical support across railway projects and defining acceptance plans for complex systems.

You will collaborate with the Team Lead, support activities from planning to validation and maintenance, and conduct independent reviews and incident investigations to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering or similar.
  • Experience with software lifecycles and planning (SQAP, SV&VP and SCMP).
  • Knowledge of SW requirements management and software verification/validation.
  • Understanding of software design and architecture principles and techniques.
  • Experience with traceability and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with software testing and change management processes.
  • Knowledge of EN 50128 and/or EN 50657.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Team Lead to provide software technical support and independent services across railway projects.
  • Support technical activities from planning through Validation and SW maintenance, including defining software acceptance plans for complex systems.
  • Perform independent reviews or software assurance activities, including gap analysis and incident investigation.
