Jobtailor seeks an experienced leader to own software asset management and contract negotiations across the organization. You will steer complex vendor negotiations, ensure compliant licensing, and align software procurement with strategic business goals.

Collaborating with Legal, Finance, IT, and Procurement, you will implement robust asset management policies, conduct audits, and drive cost optimization while maintaining high service levels with key vendors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software asset management, procurement, or contract negotiations.
• Strong negotiation with a proven track record.
• Knowledge of software licensing models and compliance.
• Familiarity with vendor audits and remediations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex software contract negotiations with vendors.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and procurement to review contracts.
• Oversee software procurement process including vendor selection and RFPs.
• Develop software asset management policies and best practices.
• Conduct regular audits to verify usage and identify risks.
• Manage relationships with software vendors to ensure service.
• Generate reports on software usage, costs, and compliance.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Legal to co-create strategies.
