Job summary

Redhorse Corporation seeks a Software Architect to lead and shape complex software initiatives in the federal space. You will provide big‑picture oversight, craft roadmaps, and validate architectures that set the standard for innovation and reliability for government partners.

You will collaborate with product teams, document interfaces, and mentor engineers while translating mission requirements into technical specifications across distributed development efforts.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 8+ years with a Master's degree.
• Demonstrated experience as a technical authority on complex software problems.
• Proven track record designing, modeling, and documenting enterprise-scale software architectures.
• Extensive proficiency translating high-level mission requirements into technical specs.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams on highly complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Articulate and champion the architectural vision for new and enhanced software products.
• Experiment with alternative architectural approaches to identify effective solutions for complex missions.
• Create comprehensive models, component specs, and interface documentation.
• Validate architectures against rigorous requirements and assumptions.
• Collaborate with product developers, managers, and customer experts to integrate features.
• Provide expert technical advice across departments.
• Integrate complex components built by distributed teams.
• Lead and mentor planning analysts and developers.
