Job summary

Tether seeks a Senior Software Architect to help build Hadron, the enterprise tokenization platform. You will design tokenization engines, blockchain integrations, permissions and enterprise APIs used by institutions worldwide.

This hands-on role focuses on solving complex distributed systems challenges at the intersection of blockchain and financial infrastructure, with a remote-first, globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Node.js as the primary tech stack.
• Experience designing scalable APIs and distributed backend systems.
• Understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices and asynchronous systems.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong debugging, performance optimization and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience building blockchain-based applications or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain backend services powering Hadron's tokenization platform.
• Develop APIs supporting asset issuance, lifecycle management and token operations.
• Build scalable infrastructure for institutional-grade tokenization workflows.
• Collaborate on Hadron's architecture and core platform capabilities.
• Work on Ethereum and EVM integrations and enterprise APIs for clients.
