Job summary

Ncontracts seeks a Software Developer -- L5 to lead architectural decisions and set technical direction across our engineering teams. You will mentor developers and drive complex initiatives, shaping robust, scalable products.

As a senior contributor, you will partner with engineering leadership, product management, and design to translate business needs into effective software solutions, uphold coding standards, and champion innovation and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with demonstrated progression in technical leadership roles.
• Expert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages including C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture, microservices, and cloud-native design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical strategy and architectural decisions across multiple teams and products.
• Lead by example in code quality, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and establish technical standards.
