Ncontracts in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Software Architect with deep .NET expertise to drive architectural decisions across our core .NET stack. This is a highly hands‑on role involving writing code, reviewing implementations, and aligning work with enterprise standards.

You’ll collaborate with engineering teams to implement distributed patterns, support modernization, and explore AI/LLM integration as a specialty. Mentoring and architectural governance are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and leadership.
• 3+ years of making architectural decisions for teams.
• Hands‑on coding in production environments.
• Strong .NET/C# and React experience across the stack.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and messaging.

Responsibilities

• Architectural implementation across our .NET services and patterns.
• AI/LLM integration patterns and prompt design (nice-to-have).
• Hands‑on coding, code reviews, and pairing with developers.
• Collaborate with multiple teams, document decisions and ADRs.
• Support modernization efforts and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
