Job summary

Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV) is seeking a Senior Programmer / Senior Software Developer to architect and build scalable solutions for CCV’s digital platforms and ministry partners. You will lead technically, own end-to-end delivery, and mentor junior developers.

The role emphasizes multi‑stack architectures, MVC/MVVM/microservices, Azure cloud, CI/CD, and security, with a focus on maintainability, performance, and clear communication with non‑technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of architectural patterns and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services and cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with DevOps, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, and integration strategies.
• Experience with Unity Game Engine is a plus.
• Ability to lead technical projects and influence team culture.
• Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Architect and Develop Solutions across multiple technology stacks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers.
• Own end-to-end project delivery from concept to deployment.
• Address performance, security, and scalability concerns.
