Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS, IT, or Information Systems.
• Ten years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Java and/or OO language experience, including design and troubleshooting.
• Experience leading or directing software developers and projects.
• NoSQL/NewSQL data stores; Scala, Rust, TypeScript experience.
• UI/UI visualization tech: HTML5/JavaScript/CSS, CesiumJS, Angular, React.
• US citizen able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Mentor a decentralized team of 5+ developers in an agile program.
• Collaborate to design, develop, and deliver complex mission system software.
• Own solutions built with Java, Scala, React and related tech.
• Explore new frameworks/languages (Angular, Rust, Scala) to meet needs.
• Troubleshoot complex challenges with creativity and efficiency.
• Drive process improvements and promote technical leadership.
