Job summary

Adobe's Brands engineering team within ACPC seeks a senior software engineer to architect AI-enabled surface integrations across Illustrator, Firefly, Adobe Home and partners. You will drive platform-level design, mentor engineers, and partner with product and design to shape the Brands roadmap.

You have 10+ years of experience, strong JS/TS/React/Node/GraphQL, and a track record of delivering scalable systems with secure practices and API contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education/work experience.
• 10+ years of full stack development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js and GraphQL.
• Experience with AI/LLM-integrated systems and tool-calling protocols.
• Proficient in using AI tools to enhance productivity and guide AI-assisted development.
• Experience owning full system designs and API/service contracts.
• Established engineering standards (code quality, testing, DevOps).
• Ability to resolve highly complex technical problems with minimal guidance.
• Strong mentoring track record and ability to influence technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions enabling new surfaces and AI agents to consume Brands capabilities.
• Resolve high-complexity system problems and provide constructive design feedback.
• Drive AI-first architectural decisions for data structuring and agent workflows.
• Align technical direction across Adobe surfaces and cross-partner initiatives.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to shape the Brands roadmap.
• Mentor engineers and grow technical leadership across the team.
• Provide technical recommendations to senior leadership and influence hiring.
• Identify platform-level gaps and propose cross-surface solutions.
• Apply secure programming practices and optimize performance across shared services.
