Job summary

Adobe is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to guide development across frontend interfaces and backend services on a design-focused platform. You will shape architecture, drive long-term technical goals, and support engineers on your team.

You will translate ambiguous requirements into scoped technical approaches, deliver production-ready systems, and influence the product and engineering foundation. Experience with AI-assisted tools and Kubernetes is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering production-quality full-stack systems with technical ownership.
• Proficiency in modern frontend development, especially React, for interactive, design-heavy UIs.
• Backend engineering experience for scalable services under high traffic, focusing on reliability and performance.
• Strong craftsmanship: readable, well-structured, production-quality code with testing philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Help establish architecture and quality coding practices for the platform's client and backend systems.
• Define long-term technical solutions spanning the entire technology range with product and development teams.
• Build fast, responsive frontend interfaces with modern web frameworks and component-based architecture.
• Architect backend services for heavy traffic with emphasis on performance, fault tolerance, and observability.
• Own development and operation of controlled environments for development, testing, and isolation.
• Drive deployment strategy and infrastructure on Kubernetes-based clusters.
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices using Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.
• Define and improve developer experience: local development loops, CI/CD ergonomics, tooling.
• Engage with customers and internal collaborators to identify problems and refine workflows.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing across the stack.
