The Opportunity

The Senior Software Architect will be responsible for leading the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance software solutions. This role demands strategic technical leadership, a deep understanding of modern software development practices, and the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals, together with a hands-on experience in software development and product delivery. The Senior Software Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architectural standards and drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and oversee the architectural design of complex, scalable software systems to meet business requirements.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of technology stacks, frameworks, and tools aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
• Establish and enforce software design principles, coding standards, and best practices across development teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, fostering skill development and innovation.
• Drive the integration of security best practices and compliance requirements into software design and development processes.
• Guide the adoption and implementation of cloud-native solutions, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies for optimized delivery.
• Conduct architectural reviews, identify technical risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software engineering to guide future architectural decisions.
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to long-term technology roadmaps.
• Support the recruitment and development of high-performing engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Batchelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture, design, and development of enterprise-scale applications.
• Proficient in cloud technologies, particularly Azure or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Deep understanding of software design patterns, architecture principles, and scalable system design.
• Hands-on expertise in Python, Java, and other relevant programming languages.
• Extensive experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Proven track record of implementing security and compliance standards in software design.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their practical applications.
• Experience in query optimization and workload management is a plus.
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $163,000 in our lowest geographic market to $244,000 in our highest geographic market. The actual base salary will be determined by various factors, including the position’s location, job-related skills, knowledge, experience, and relevant education or training.

Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, such as merit-based salary increases, annual bonuses, and long-term incentive plans, which are contingent on individual and company performance. Additionally, some positions offer the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization targets.
