Responsibilities

• Draw conclusions and devise solutions to improve acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
• Develop and draft high quality acquisition documentation.
• Interpret digital transformation strategies and tailor implementation to program needs.
• Coordinate program management assignments and activities.
• Manage program/project integration.
• Develop and maintain a program's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Apply program management and systems engineering to projects and advise leads and engineers.
• Advise leadership on strategic planning for capability development and demonstration.
• Provide oversight of information assurance tasks for classified networks.
• Support the program director at executive levels during reviews and milestones.
• Manage interactions between program office, government offices, other contractors, and HQ staff.

Job Description

HII – Mission Technologies is looking for a Senior Software Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Acquisition Program Manager to support a position located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This position is for the software, compute, and autonomy Integrated Capability Team. Applicant must possess an active TS/SCI clearance and have SAP experience. This individual will a pply integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise to technical and acquisition efforts across a broad spectrum of functional disciplines to effectively assist programs to deliver and sustain USAF warfighting capabilities.

• Draw conclusions and devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance.


• Develop and draft high quality acquisition documentation.


• Interpret department and center digital transformation strategies and tailor implementation according to program and portfolio needs.


• Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate program management assignments and activities.


• Manage program/project integration.


• Develop and maintain a program's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).


• Apply program management and systems engineering expertise to projects and program challenges, and advise project leads and project engineers on all matters of acquisition management.


• Advise program leadership on strategic planning regarding capability development and demonstration on the program.


• Provide oversight of program information assurance tasks associated with classified networks and report status directly to the program manager.


• Support the program director from time to time at executive levels within the government and other contractor organizations, including major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other program evaluations and major milestone events.


• Manage interactions and cultivate relationships between the program office, supporting government offices, other contractors, and higher headquarters mid to upper-level staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.


• Minimum experience requirement for personnel in the Senior labor category is ten (10) years of relevant work experience with the DoD, other government agency, or DoD contractor.


• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an SAP environment within the last eight (8) years.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in all phases of acquisition
