Job summary
Trove Brands is seeking a Senior Technical Product Developer to own the technical development of bags and accessories. This role coordinates with Product Management, Design, and overseas partners to translate design intent into manufacturable products and ensure quality standards from prototype to pre-production.
The position requires hands-on experience with tech packs, knowledge of soft goods construction, and collaboration across global teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in soft goods technical design or product development.
- Experience from prototype through pre-production in bags, accessories, or structured soft goods.
- Ability to create, read, and maintain tech packs for construction accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Manage prototype and sample review, evaluating construction, materials, hardware, trim, finishing, and execution against specs.
- Create and update tech packs across active styles; document changes and approvals.
- Communicate technical corrections to overseas manufacturers; manage revisions to resolution.
- Translate design concepts into factory-ready specs while maintaining design intent and manufacturability.
- Track sample submissions, approvals, and milestones across calendars; identify risks.
