Job summary

Battelle Memorial Institute is seeking a Senior Strength and Conditioning Specialist to support U.S. Special Operations Command within the POTFF program.

You will design evidence-based protocols, track program effectiveness with analytics, and ensure safe return-to-training for injured personnel. Requirements include a Master’s Degree in a related field, NSCA CSCS or CSCCa certification, and 10+ years coordinating performance programs for SOF or athletic teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in an accredited exercise science, health science, or physical education-related discipline.
• Current NSCA CSCS or CSCCa certification.
• 10+ years developing long- and short-range performance programs for athletes or SOF operators.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US government security clearance.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and hike in austere environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, evaluate, refine, and document effects of physical training protocols.
• Use statistics/analytics to track and report on Strength & Conditioning program effects.
• Coordinate training programs with HP staff to ensure safe return-to-training.
• Supervise training for personnel TDY/TAD or deployed.
• Develop and promulgate training materials and SOPs for equipment safety.
