The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Augusta, ME seeks a licensed clinical social worker with an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program to join its therapeutic care team.

You will provide advanced social work services, participate in interdisciplinary care, and contribute to discharge planning, family counseling, and community referrals within VA benefits.

Candidates should have experience in hospice/palliative care, licensure compliance, and the ability to educate staff and trainees.

Formación

• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Must be licensed to independently practice social work at the master's level.
• Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program (no substitution).

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced social work evaluation, treatment planning, and counseling.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for Veterans and families.
• Assist with discharge planning and linkage to community resources.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practice guidelines within the service area.
• Provide supervision guidance for licensure and professional development.
