Responsibilities

• Senior social workers assigned to the HUD-VASH program have specialized clinical expertise in an area applicable to the HUD-VASH program.
• Provide leadership on a team and implement an initiative within a workgroup.
• Provide outreach services to engage homeless Veterans and build collaborations with stakeholders.
• Independently conducting interviews and assessments for program enrollment and treatment plan development.
• Use Housing First and evidence-based practice models to engage Veterans.
• Assist Veterans to form goals and improve quality of life, including housing, employment, and access to benefits.
