The County of Siskiyou is an affirmative action/Equal Opportunity Employer seeking a highly experienced Social Worker IV in the Department of Social Services. You will assess needs, develop service plans, and manage the most complex cases in child welfare or adult protective services. Strong case management and documentation skills are essential.

Master's in Social Work is required, with valid driver's license. Premium Pay and SSD Retention Pay are incentives for eligible staff.

Formación

• Carry a caseload and develop service plans for complex adoption, adult protective, or child protective cases.
• Understand laws, rules, and regulations governing county Human Services programs.
• Document progress with various interviewing techniques and case notes.
• Refer clients to community resources to enhance services.
• Explain departmental programs clearly and maintain confidentiality of records.

Responsabilidades

• Regularly carry a specialized caseload of the most difficult cases and determine required services.
• Develop comprehensive client service plans and coordinate with community resources.
• Provide case documentation, home visits, and court testimony as needed.
• Lead or direct projects for other staff when assigned.
