Our client in Upington, Northern Cape is seeking a compassionate Social Support Counsellor. The role provides counselling and support to individuals and families facing social, emotional, and psychological challenges, with a focus on empowerment and access to resources.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification, is professionally registered, and has at least three years of post‑qualification experience.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or relevant postgraduate qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Professional registration with a relevant South African council (e.g., HPCSA, SACSSP).
• Minimum of 3 years of post‑qualification experience in counseling or psychotherapy.

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling services.
• Assess clients' needs and develop appropriate intervention and support plans.
• Offer guidance and support to individuals dealing with mental health issues, trauma, relationship problems, and life transitions.
