Key Responsibilities
1. Reinvent the Social Media Strategy

You will:

  • Develop a multi-year vision for social innovation
  • Identify emerging behaviors, technologies and platforms before competitors
  • Redefine how the organization creates and distributes expertise

Transform the company into an industry and energy destination.

You will:

  • Partner with our leadership team on integrating strategies for executives and technical experts
  • Build programs that elevate engineers, researchers and subject matter experts
  • Expand industry influence through strategic partnerships and communities
  • Create new formats that simplify complex technologies
  • Position the company as the interpreter of industry change rather than simply a reporter of news
3. Lead Social Innovation

Serve as the innovation engine for digital engagement.

You will:

  • Evaluate emerging platforms and technologies
  • Pilot AI-assisted content creation workflows
  • Test new content formats and audience engagement models
  • Introduce interactive, immersive and community-driven experiences
  • Create an experimentation framework with rapid testing and learning

You will partner with other leaders:

  • Build governance models, workflows and RACI structures
  • Develop functional champions across the organization
  • Enable business leaders to contribute expertise
  • Create scalable intake and content planning processes
  • Deliver enterprise training and capability-building programs
  • Establish employee advocacy frameworks and activation plans
5. Create World-Class Content Systems

Move from content production to content orchestration.

You will:

  • Build repeatable content engines around strategic priorities
  • Transform technical expertise into audience-first storytelling
  • Develop platform-native content experiences
  • Establish creative frameworks and distinctive visual treatments
  • Align content formats to audience behaviors and platform strengths
6. Own Community and Conversation

Create two-way engagement at scale.

You will:

  • Develop social listening and intelligence programs
  • Build community engagement strategies
  • Identify emerging risks and opportunities
  • Establish response playbooks and escalation procedures
  • Turn audience insights into business recommendations
7. Deliver Business Intelligence and Measurement

Redefine how success is measured.

You will:

  • Followers
  • Engagement rate

And measure:

  • Share of voice
  • Influence growth
  • Thought leadership authority
  • Reputation impact
  • Executive visibility
  • Employee advocacy participation
  • Business contribution
  • Conversion and demand influence
Required Experience
  • 10+ years in social media, digital strategy, communications, brand or content leadership
  • Experience building enterprise-scale social media programs
  • Strong understanding of audience development and influence-building
  • Experience leading cross-functional transformation initiatives
