Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in social work and be licensed or certified by the New Jersey Board of Social Work Examiners.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the social services programs of the Facility.
• Interview resident and families in a private setting, as necessary.
• Submit necessary forms, reports, etc., to the Administrator.
• Direct the Social Service Department with authority and accountability.
• Review and develop a plan of correction for social service deficiencies noted during survey inspections and provide a written copy of such to the Administrator.
• Serve on committees of the Facility and participate in ongoing training.
• Develop and participate in training programs and orientation for staff.
• Develop assessments and written plans of care for residents.
