We are looking for a Social Media Manager with 5+ years of experience to work in our New York City office. The ideal candidate will be able to ideate, implement, and measure a social media and influencer strategy that can be delivered across a variety of social media channels and drive engagement, follower growth, and ultimately customer acquisition. This role will be responsible for assisting in the overall management of DGC’s social media channels. With support from the Marketing team, they will contribute to the impact social media has on the success of the business. This is a collaborative position that also requires a high degree of independent work due to the nature of our small team.

Responsibilities include strategizing, executing, reporting, and analyzing casino and gaming trends and storytelling. To be successful in this role, candidates should be comfortable with publishing and copywriting posts in a timely manner. They should have a basic understanding of the real-money gaming and social casino landscape and its always-on content approach.

What you’ll be doing

  • As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:
  • Assist with the day-to-day programming, scheduling, and copywriting for all social channels.
  • Primary support: Instagram and Snapchat, with the goal of expanding to TikTok.
  • Secondary support: Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Creation and execution of the social media strategy with assistance from Creative Studio.
  • Ideate and concept weekly content for all casino brands.
  • Support our Creative Studio team with design briefing.
  • Work with graphic designers, illustrators, and motion designers to ensure social graphics and videos are created in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain the tone of voice on our channels, while leveraging it to differentiate from competitors in the category.
  • Create new ways to weave material and conversation into our daily social programming.
  • Leverage sponsorship collateral, such as ticket giveaways.
  • Execute our influencer marketing strategy by identifying, recruiting, negotiating with and managing creators to generate high-performing content and meet campaign objectives
  • Manage reporting to track KPIs and benchmarks for all social media channels and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Flexible with working non-traditional hours. For example, work hours outside of Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm EST, and the possibility of work on holidays (i.e., Thanksgiving or Christmas Day).

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

  • The necessary skills that we require for this role include:
  • 5+ years working in a social media role.
  • 1-2 years working with a Marketing Team.
  • Experience posting for a brand or media outlet including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.
  • Experience executing a social media strategy daily, includes managing editorial calendars, posting schedules, creative reviews, and content brainstorms.
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, extended knowledge of Photoshop a plus.
  • Must be an independent, strategic, and creative thinker who is a strong team player and willing to take on additional responsibilities, as necessary.
  • Organized taskmaster.
  • Demonstrated project management.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to think outside of the box, be innovative, adaptable, and able to come up with creative solutions to changing business challenges.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
