Job summary

Revolutional in Chandler, AZ is seeking a SOC Watch Officer to lead the 24/7 security operations floor. You will oversee analysts, triage incidents, and make real-time decisions to protect a large federal network environment.

You will supervise analysts, ensure timely responses, and enforce playbooks while coordinating with technical teams. A US security clearance is required, and salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a security operations environment
• Hands-on security operations experience including monitoring, detection, and incident response
• Active Secret clearance; Top Secret/SCI eligibility required

Responsibilities

• Maintain situational awareness across all active monitoring queues and incidents during watch
• Supervise SOC analysts on shift and ensure response quality and timeliness
• Make real-time operational decisions on event triage, escalation, and response prioritization
• Serve as shift escalation point for complex/high-severity events
• Ensure accurate documentation of all security events and actions
• Conduct shift turnover briefings and communicate watch floor status
• Monitor SOC tooling and sensor coverage and escalate gaps
• Enforce adherence to SOC playbooks and incident handling protocols
• Support containment and remediation with relevant teams
• Contribute to after-action reviews and continuous improvement
