Job summary

Revolutional is seeking a SOC Watch Officer in Chandler, AZ to own the floor during watch, maintain security of a 24/7/365 federal network, oversee analysts, and make real‑time decisions to protect critical missions. You will supervise analysts, direct incident response, document actions, and escalate to SOC Team Lead as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of supervisory security operations experience.
• Hands-on security operations including monitoring, detection, and incident response.
• Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain situational awareness across active monitoring queues.
• Supervise SOC analysts on shift; direct workload and review actions.
• Make real-time operational decisions on event triage and response.
• Serve as the shift escalation point for complex or high-severity events.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation of all security events and actions.
• Conduct shift turnover briefings and communicate status to incoming personnel.
• Monitor SOC tooling and elevate gaps or anomalies affecting detection.
• Enforce adherence to SOC playbooks and incident handling protocols.
• Support containment and remediation activities, coordinating with teams.
• Contribute to after-action reviews and watch floor improvements.
