Job summary

Amazon in Cupertino, CA or Austin, TX is seeking a Senior SoC Modeling Engineer to build and own end-to-end functional models for AWS accelerator SoCs. The role collaborates with architecture, RTL design, verification, emulation, and software teams to deliver scalable modeling solutions.

You will mentor teams, drive tooling improvements, and contribute to a robust modeling infrastructure while delivering maintainable software across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years programming in at least one language.
• 5+ years leading design or architecture of systems.
• 5+ years full software development lifecycle experience.
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own SoC functional models end-to-end, incl. architecture and testing.
• Collaborate with architecture, RTL, design verification, emulation, and software teams.
• Improve tooling to help customers use SoC models more easily.
• Drive performance improvements for modeling infra and scalability.
• Develop maintainable, well-documented, and reusable software.
