Job summary

Insight Global seeks a SoC Security Architect to define and drive the hardware security architecture for a range of SoCs and end applications. You will own the vision for future generations of secure hardware and collaborate with architecture, RTL, and software teams to embed security into implementation and validation.

The role requires 10–15+ years in SoC design with a focus on hardware security, strong understanding of AMBA/AXI interconnects, and experience with threat modeling and security

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in SoC or MCU design with a hardware security focus.
• Strong understanding of SoC architecture and AMBA/AXI interconnects.
• Experience with threat modeling and security validation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for specifications and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Define SoC hardware security architecture and requirements, including HSM, secure boot, and cryptographic IP integration.
• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis; derive architectural mitigations.
• Architect HW/SW security boundaries and co-design flows for secure boot, drivers, and runtime protection.
• Define secure key storage and security-aware DFT/TEST strategies balancing coverage and resistance.
• Collaborate with architecture, RTL, verification, PD, and software teams to embed security into implementation and validation.
