NXP Semiconductors NV in San Jose, CA seeks a SoC Security Architect to define and drive the hardware security architecture across SoCs for multiple end applications. You will own the vision for future generations of security hardware and lead integration of cryptographic IP and secure boot concepts.

You will collaborate with architecture, RTL, verification, PD, and software teams to embed security into implementation, ensure ISO 21434 compliance, and balance security with power and performance.

Competenze

• 10–15+ years of experience in SoC or MCU design with a focus on hardware security architecture.
• Strong understanding of SoC architecture, AMBA/AXI interconnects, and memory subsystems.
• Proven threat modeling, risk assessment, security validation, and vulnerability analysis experience.
• Hands-on background with RTL design, synthesis concepts, and EDA flows to support secure implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for specifications, reviews, and stakeholder alignment.

Mansioni

• Define SoC hardware security architecture and requirements including HSM, secure boot, RoT concepts, and crypto IP integration strategies.
• Translate security features into high-level HW/SW specifications and derive HW requirements.
• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis; translate into architectural mitigations.
• Architect HW/SW security boundaries and co-design flows for secure boot, firmware services, drivers, and runtime protection.
• Define secure key storage/provisioning (eFUSE/OTP) and security-aware DFT/TEST strategies balancing coverage.
• Collaborate with architecture, RTL, verification, DFT, PD, and software teams to embed security into implementation and validation.
• Ensure ISO 21434 compliance, optimize for PPA trade-offs, and drive system-level security validation.
• Stay current on threats/standards and provide technical leadership through reviews and security guidance.
