Job summary

Quantum Sky is seeking a temporary experienced cybersecurity professional to lead and manage SOC activities for a federal client. The SOC Watch Floor Manager will guide SOC deployment and integration with the Enterprise SOC while supporting government leadership.

Responsibilities include policy life cycle, incident response leadership, and mentoring analysts. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, a CISSP and CEH, and a hybrid work arrangement with onsite visits in Washington DC as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum eight years experience with six in specialized leadership.
• Thorough understanding of cybersecurity operations workflows.
• Strong writing, analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience across multiple teams and environments.
• CISSP and CEH certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOC activities including monitoring and incident response.
• Own SOC SOP and playbook lifecycle; update monitoring procedures.
• Review security policies and advise on IRP and agency requirements.
• Mentor shift leads and analysts on detection and response techniques.
• Lead incident response during security events and brief leadership.
