Job summary

Inversion6 is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our growing team in the United States. This client-facing role combines onsite visits with remote support to help clients maintain, secure, and improve their security environments through proactive management and hands-on guidance.

You will design and tune SIEM/SOAR workflows, onboard log sources, develop detections, build dashboards, and collaborate with our 24x7 SOC to drive detection maturity and incident response.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on security engineering experience.
• Proficient in managing SIEM and SOAR environments.
• Cloud familiarity: Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS.
• Strong communication and client-facing demeanor.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot across IT and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain SIEM/SOAR to support security monitoring.
• Onboard log sources from servers, endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms.
• Develop, tune, and optimize detections and alert logic.
• Develop SIEM automation and SOAR integrations with third-party tools.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and incident response teams on escalations.
