Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a System Architect for Lab126 to define and lead system architecture across Echo, FireTV, Kindle, and related devices. You will collaborate with product management, hardware, software, ML, and design teams to drive architecture decisions and roadmaps for next‑gen compute IP and silicon platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of industry experience or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Background or education in SoC/Silicon engineering, computer architecture, machine learning or embedded software.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture for consumer products (Echo, FireTV, etc.).
• Drive edge-cloud compute partition, SoC selection, CPU/DSP/GPU/ML accelerator architecture.
• Document decisions in a system architecture specification for engineering teams.
• Track market trends; interface with silicon suppliers; define roadmaps for compute IP and silicon platforms.
• Lead architecture discussions across cross-functional teams throughout product development.
