AspenView Technology Partners, Inc. is seeking a Tier 2 SOC Analyst to lead escalation, scope incidents, and enact containment for a US higher-education client.

You will tune detections and collaborate with Tier 1 and client engineers to ensure accurate, actionable incident responses. Qualifications include four or more years in security operations, strong MS Sentinel and KQL skills, and excellent written and verbal English.

Qualifications

• Four or more years in security operations with escalation ownership.
• Fluent English, able to brief a client executive.
• Ability to contain threats without production impact; proactive detection content improvement.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel analytics rules and end-to-end incident response.

Responsabilités

• Own escalations from Tier 1, scope and enrich incidents.
• Execute containment actions per client rules while protecting production.
• Coordinate handover to client engineers when needed; maintain clear incident write-ups.
• Tune detection rules to reduce false positives and improve visibility.
