Archer, in collaboration with BNY, seeks a Senior SOC Analyst to join the Security Operations Center. The role can be located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule and 8:00 AM–4:00 PM ET coverage.

You will lead triage, investigate alerts, tune detections across SIEM/EDR, mentor analysts, and coordinate incident response while aligning with MITRE ATT&CK and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• 6–10 years in SOC, incident response, or threat detection roles, including Tier 2/3 investigations.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field; advanced certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
• Strong proficiency with SIEM/EDR and SOAR platforms; experience across MITRE ATT&CK mapping.

Aufgaben

• Lead triage and investigation of security alerts, escalating and coordinating incident response as needed.
• Perform root cause analysis, scope affected assets, and drive containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Correlate events across SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, cloud logs, and identity platforms to identify true positives.
• Develop, refine, and maintain SOC playbooks, runbooks, and detection logic aligned to MITRE ATT&CK.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on investigation techniques, documentation standards, and operational best practices.
• Coordinate with Threat Intelligence to enrich investigations and track adversary TTPs.
• Partner with Engineering to tune detections and improve log fidelity.
• Create incident reports and executive summaries; contribute to metrics and trend analysis.
• Support purple team exercises and post-incident reviews to capture lessons learned.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and security policies; maintain audit-ready documentation.
