Job summary

Arctiq is hiring multiple SOC Analysts at the Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels to staff Day, Swing, and Night shifts for a diverse portfolio of clients across SIEM, EDR/XDR, identity, email, network, and cloud telemetry.

You will investigate detections, triage alerts, lead investigations, and execute response playbooks while improving detections, playbooks, and knowledge bases in coordination with SOC Leadership and Detection Engineering.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in an IT security or IT support role with security responsibilities.
• Solid understanding of core security concepts and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor detections and triage alerts across SIEM/EDR for managed clients.
• Investigate suspicious activity end-to-end using MITRE ATT&CK and cyber kill chain concepts.
• Execute documented response playbooks to contain threats and coordinate handoffs.
• Collaborate with Detection Engineering to reduce noise and deploy new analytics and SOAR playbooks.
• Maintain audit-grade documentation of cases with timelines and client communications.
• Meet SLAs for triage, investigation, and notifications with accuracy.
• Contribute to SOC improvements by feeding lessons learned into detections and playbooks.
• Support a 24x7 rotation on assigned shifts, including on-call escalations.
