ISO New England Inc. is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to defend critical infrastructure and support the reliable operation of the electric grid in New England.

The role emphasizes independent threat detection, malware analysis, and cross-team incident response in a fast-paced SOC environment. You will lead complex security incidents, tune detections, and mentor junior analysts while benefiting from a hybrid work setup (4 days on-site) and a robust benefits package with relocation support

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or equivalent security experience required.
• Experience defending critical infrastructure or energy sectors preferred.
• Strong incident response, malware analysis, and forensics skills required.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and cyber kill chain concepts.

Responsabilités

• Operate independently to detect, analyze, and respond to security threats in a SOC environment.
• Lead response efforts for high-severity incidents across IT/OT/engineering teams.
• Develop and tune detection rules, playbooks, and automation to improve SOC effectiveness.
• Mentor junior analysts and coordinate with PMO on security projects.
• Coordinate tabletop exercises and security assessments focusing on grid operations.
