ISO New England, Inc. is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst in Holyoke, MA. You will defend critical infrastructure powering millions in New England, operating in a fast-paced SOC, leading response to incidents and developing detection capabilities.

The role offers hybrid work (4 days on-site), on-call rotation, relocation assistance, and a robust benefits package including 401(k) and tuition reimbursement. You will work with IT, OT and engineering teams to safeguard the electric grid and public

Qualifications

• Proven ability to detect, analyze, and respond to complex security threats in a fast-paced SOC environment.
• Lead response for high-severity incidents across IT/OT and engineering teams.
• Apply threat modeling to anticipate attacker paths and improve coverage.
• Perform advanced threat detection using SIEM, EDR/XDR, network monitoring, and forensics.
• Develop and tune detection rules and automated response playbooks.

Responsabilités

• Operate independently with minimal supervision to defend critical infrastructure.
• Coordinate containment, eradication, and recovery during incidents.
• Mentor junior analysts and train teams on investigation techniques.
• Coordinate SOC initiatives with PMO for security projects.
• Conduct tabletop exercises and grid-focused security assessments.
