JCS Solutions LLC seeks a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to support the Pentagon reservation under PHISH Support Services II. This role requires rotating shifts, including weekends, and 60% onsite work at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA, per program needs.

The SOC Analyst will monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity events across networks, endpoints, servers, and cloud environments, coordinating with incident responders, engineers, and mission partners.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, intelligence studies, or a related technical discipline, and 4‑8 years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA-Sec, CISSP, etc.).
• Experience with enterprise SIEM/EDR and incident-response processes.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, ports & protocols, and enterprise security controls.

Mansioni

• Monitor, triage, and investigate alerts from SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, logs, and cloud-security tools.
• Analyze telemetry to identify anomalous or malicious activity.
• Conduct incident investigations, escalate per procedures, and coordinate responses.
• Apply threat intelligence to validate alerts and prioritize investigations.
• Support containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident activities.
