EY is seeking a Senior SOAR Engineer to design, implement, and optimize security automation solutions for clients across industries. You will automate repetitive tasks, orchestrate complex workflows, and integrate a wide range of security technologies to improve incident response times and overall cyber resilience.

You will work with SOC, IR, threat intel, detection engineering, and vulnerability teams, mentoring junior engineers and contributing to engineering standards while staying current on

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2–4 years in security automation or SOAR.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise SOAR platforms (listed).
• Strong software development and scripting (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript).
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs, web services, SDKs, and integrations.
• Knowledge of security operations processes including alert triage and incident response.
• Experience integrating SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, cloud security and ticketing platforms.
• Understanding of Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud environments.
• Experience designing, testing, and maintaining automation workflows in production.
• Certifications in cybersecurity or ability to obtain them after employment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated security workflows.
• Integrate tools, data sources, and processes across the security ecosystem.
• Collaborate with SOC, IR, threat intel, detection engineering, and vulnerability teams.
• Design playbooks for triage, enrichment, containment, remediation, and reporting.
• Develop integrations across cloud and on‑premise environments using APIs and connectors.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
