Job summary

Premier Trailer Leasing seeks an experienced Data Engineer to build and operate its next-generation data platform. You will own Snowflake-based pipelines, implement dbt Cloud transformations, and deliver governed data products for reporting, APIs, and BI tools.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data engineering with hands-on Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and SQL/Python skills, and you will collaborate with Data Leadership to define architecture and platform standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive data engineering or data platform experience with meaningful hands-on Snowflake work.
• Strong Snowflake design, RBAC, cost governance, and performance tuning.
• dbt Cloud experience with Git-based source control for modular development.
• Production pipeline ownership for ingestion, CDC, transformation and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate a modern data platform using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and managed ingestion.
• Improve repeatable practices for environments, Git workflows, CI/CD, and production controls.
• Develop layered data models and canonical enterprise entities across raw to published marts.
• Create resilient ingestion patterns including CDC from SQL Server, ERP, CRM, and SaaS sources.
• Collaborate with Data Leadership and other teams on architecture and platform standards.
