Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company seeks a seasoned Data Engineer to design and implement enterprise data solutions. You will build scalable ELT pipelines on Snowflake, adopt best-in-class data modeling, and collaborate with architecture, security, and product leaders to deliver robust analytics platforms.

You will work with Azure and AWS, using Snowflake, dbt, and orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect to ensure data quality and timely delivery for business users and data scientists.

Qualificações

• Undergraduate studies in computer science, MIS, business, statistics, math, or related field preferred.
• Graduate studies in related fields are a plus.
• Six to ten years of relevant data engineering experience within insurance/financial services is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Consult on complex data product projects to design, develop and implement data products.
• Produce data blocks, models, and flows for reporting, dashboards, and data science exploration.
• Translate business stories into technical tasks with estimations for schedules.
• Apply secure software practices across delivery lifecycle.
• Create access methods for structured and unstructured data leveraging mapping to common models, NLP, and AI techniques.
• Build scalable data pipelines and APIs to accommodate growing data volumes.
• Lead design decisions for complex data pipelines and reusable components.
