Elios AI in Houston, TX is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own the Snowflake architecture for a new Trading Risk platform. You will shape standards, set security and data governance practices, and stay hands-on with Snowflake development.

The role combines architecture with active coding, in a hybrid setup with 3 days onsite. You will collaborate with client and delivery teams, drive scalable data domain strategies, and lead efforts to ensure reusable platform capabilities across future use

Qualifications

7+ years in data engineering with enterprise data architecture focus
Deep hands-on Snowflake: modeling, performance, access controls
Experience building cloud-based analytics with reusable platform components
Strong governance and metadata management practices

Responsibilities

Design and implement data integration patterns for ingestion, transformation, and publishing into trusted datasets
Build end-to-end Snowflake security model including RBAC and access controls
Define scalable standards for environments, data domains, databases, and naming conventions
Tune Snowflake pipelines for performance, cost, and monitoring
Guide dev/ops teams on version control, CI/CD, and automated testing
Partner with client teams on architecture best practices and enterprise rollout requirements
Establish reusable platform capabilities for future use cases
