Job summary

Mizuho is seeking a Senior Snowflake & BI Developer for Treasury and Finance to design, develop, and support enterprise data, analytics, and reporting solutions. You will collaborate with business, Data Architecture, and Engineering to translate requirements into scalable, production-quality data models, pipelines, and dashboards.

The role emphasizes Snowflake, SQL, data modeling, and Power BI expertise, with exposure to Liquidity Management, Cash Positioning, Funding, Intraday Liquidity,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, BI development, data warehousing, analytics engineering, or financial-services tech.
• Hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and Power BI with knowledge of dimensional data modeling, enterprise data warehousing, data marts, data aggregation and transformation, and end-to-end data lineage.
• Experience working with Finance/Treasury stakeholders to understand financial data and reporting requirements.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical liaison with Treasury, Finance, Data Architecture, Engineering, Operations, Risk, and dependent technology teams.
• Partner with Treasury and Finance users to understand reporting requirements, financial calculations, business rules, and data dependencies.
• Communicate development progress, data-quality issues, risks, dependencies, and technical recommendations.
• Work with Solution Architects, Data Architects, Business Analysts, and application teams.
• Support analysis and resolution of data and reporting discrepancies.
