Job summary

PineQ Lab Technology is seeking an experienced Sr Lead – Snowflake Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based data solutions using Snowflake. The role requires hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data integration, with a focus on performance and cost efficiency.

12+ years in IT with data engineering, data warehousing, cloud platforms
Strong hands-on Snowflake experience with design and optimization
Experience leading technical delivery and mentoring junior engineers
Proficient in SQL, Python, and modern data integration
Knowledge of security, RBAC, and data masking in Snowflake

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of Snowflake-based data solutions
Model logical and physical schemas, databases, schemas, tables, and warehouses
Ingest and transform data from structured and unstructured sources
Develop and optimize DBT pipelines and data quality checks
Ensure security, RBAC, data masking, and compliance across solutions
Provide hands-on guidance and reviews for engineering teams
