Ryders Health Management in Stratford, CT, is seeking a Corporate Managed Care Specialist to support our skilled nursing facilities with managed care billing, collections, and authorization follow-up.

The role focuses on reimbursement processes across a multi-facility portfolio, managing payer relationships, resolving claims issues, and collaborating with facility and corporate teams in a fast-paced health-care environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) billing experience.
• Experience with managed care billing and collections preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare Advantage and commercial payers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare billing systems.
• Ability to manage multiple facilities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Submit and manage Managed Care claims for SNFs.
• Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and authorizations.
• Review eligibility and payer requirements for accurate reimbursement.
• Work aging reports and maintain follow-up documentation.
• Coordinate with BOMs, therapy, MDS, and centralized billing.
• Identify billing trends and raise reimbursement concerns.
