Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Mission Assurance Engineer in Roy, UT. You will act as a Hardware Quality SME, reviewing design packages and supplier artifacts to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

The role requires a US citizen with a DoD Secret clearance and experience in GD&T, CA/PLM tools, and complex hardware reviews. A 9/80 schedule and relocation assistance may apply.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 8+ years in hardware design/mission assurance and related aerospace experience.
• US Citizen with active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain SAP access.
• Experience reviewing hardware design packages and supplier artifacts.
• Familiar with GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards and 3D/2D modeling reviews.

Responsibilities

• Review design packages for content and compliance with standards.
• Assess SDRL deliveries and provide guidance to expand scope.
• Maintain Quality Management System per AS9100 and related procedures.
• Lead/members reviews and present metrics to stakeholders.
• Support program improvement and risk mitigation activities.
• Collaborate across engineering boards and customers.
