Job summary

Astemo Ltd. is seeking an SMT Engineering professional to investigate and develop new surface-mount technology processes.

You will drive cost reductions, improve manufacturing efficiency, and assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment at multiple sites. You will work closely with site Process Engineering teams and cross-functional groups to ensure smooth, zero-defect product launches, while collaborating with Design Engineering to align processes with VEC standards for current

Responsibilities

• Investigate and develop new SMT processes; drive cost and efficiency improvements.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment at manufacturing sites.
• Collaborate with site PE teams and CFT to ensure zero-defect product launches.
• Prepare equipment and ST quotations for new opportunities; develop robust processes for new components.
• Coordinate with DE to establish VEC standards for current and future products.
