Job summary

Great Basin Industrial is seeking a Senior SMP Project Manager to lead large-scale construction projects across the U.S. You will drive safe work culture, manage people and resources, and exceed customer expectations to deliver on-time schedules and profitability.

The role reports to the Director of SMP Services and requires heavy travel (60%–80%) to project sites. A Bachelor’s degree in construction management and at least six years in industrial construction are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• Minimum of six (6) years prior experience in construction, managing projects $5M+ (industrial).
• Ability to travel 60% to 80% to project sites across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safe work performance on all assigned projects.
• Manage daily interaction and planning with customers, field superintendents, field crews and all GBI departments.
• Serve as primary contact with customers and provide progress reports.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and partners on project details and compliance.
• Maintain project schedules and expenditures to budgeted amounts; optimize cash flow.
• Manage change orders and claims; ensure timely close-out with required documentation.
